Baseball Game Preview: Destin Sharks vs. Choctawhatchee Indians

The Destin Sharks will head out on the road to challenge the Choctawhatchee Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Destin can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home two weeks ago. They came up short against Bozeman, falling 11-1. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Bucks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Destin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vance Kirby, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Choctawhatchee came up short against Crestview on Monday and fell 6-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Destin suffered a grim 19-6 defeat to Choctawhatchee in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can Destin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
