Softball Preview: Eminence Eels vs. Purdue Polytechnic Techies
Eminence is 3-0 against Purdue Polytechnic since April of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saucerman kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. At bat, Dittemore scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Saucerman scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Eminence got a massive performance out of Abigail Dittemore, who went 2-for-2 with three RBI, a triple, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Morghan Taylor, who went 2-for-2 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.
