Football Recap: Akins Starts off Right with Win over Travis

Akins had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Travis Rebels 48-0 on Friday. The Eagles were shut out 24-0 the last time they took on the Rebels, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Akins will take on Cedar Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Travis, they will challenge McCallum at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
