Baseball Game Preview: West Babylon Eagles vs. East Islip Redmen

For the second straight game, West Babylon will face off against East Islip. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Redmen at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (West Babylon 2.8, East Islip 0.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

West Babylon is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering East Islip just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Redmen by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

The win keeps East Islip at an undefeated 6-0. As for West Babylon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
