Baseball Game Preview: Highland Rebels vs. Flippin Bobcats

The Highland Rebels will challenge the Flippin Bobcats at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Highland comes in on nine and Flippin on three.

Highland's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Marked Tree. Considering the Rebels have won six matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Flippin challenged Green Forest on Friday. Flippin was the clear victor by an 11-2 margin over Green Forest. The Bobcats are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fourth game they've won by 6+ runs this season.

Highland's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Flippin, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
