Basketball Game Preview: Harrison Hornets vs. Meridian Mustangs

The Harrison Hornets will take on the Meridian Mustangs in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Harrison didn't have quite enough to beat Gladwin and fell 40-38. The loss was the Hornets' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Meridian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Falcons 57-11. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 46 points or more this season.

Meridian pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.7 points. As for Harrison, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
