Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Jaguars vs. Perrysburg Yellow Jackets

St. Joseph Academy had won two straight games and Milani Marrero did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Jaguars came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets with plenty of help from Marrero, who had nine digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

While St. Joseph Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Perrysburg scored at least 13 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Perrysburg still got an impressive performance from Abigail Bartolo, who had eight digs.
