If Clarksville was riding high fresh off their 17-4 takedown of Scottsburg on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Generals came up short against the Lanesville Eagles on Monday, falling 10-2. The Generals' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Clarksville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaliyah Watts, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one stolen base. Bailey Senior was another, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Clarksville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lanesville, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksville will welcome Crawford County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanesville, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Salem at 5:30 p.m.
