Basketball Game Preview: Wells Raiders vs. Chicago Sullivan Tigers

The Wells Raiders will square off against the Chicago Sullivan Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wells has five straight wins, Chicago Sullivan has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Wells is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Chicago Sullivan 67-7 on Friday. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Wells found their leader in freshman Ashanti Clark, who dropped a triple-double on 28 points, 11 boards, and 17 steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Clark has scored at least a third of Wells' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamyra Davis, who went 10 of 24 en route to 24 points and eight steals.

Wells' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Chicago Sullivan, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
