Basketball Recap: Valley Union Comes Up Short

Valley Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. The contest between them and the Duncan Wildkats didn't end well, with the Valley Union Blue Devils falling 45-31. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildkats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Valley Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Duncan, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Union will square off against Lourdes Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Union is facing Lourdes Catholic at the right time seeing as Lourdes Catholic is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Duncan, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Superior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
