Baseball Recap: Northview Comes Up Short

Northview came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Greencastle Tiger Cubs, falling 12-3. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tiger Cubs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Northview saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Kreiger, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That run marked the first that Kreiger scored this season. TK Black was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Northview now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Greencastle, their record now sits at 4-1.

Northview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-2 defeat against Cascade on the 16th. As for Greencastle, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-8 loss against West Vigo on the 16th.
