Highlands had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 59-50 win over the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-43 back in January.

Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Newport Central Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-16 record this season.
