Basketball Recap: Dadeville Drops Highest Score of Season Against Macks Creek

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dadeville). They put the hurt on the Macks Creek Pirates with a sharp 70-48 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-31 last Tuesday.

Dadeville was led to victory by Chayse Coose and Briar Clift. Coose went 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points along with seven boards and four steals, while Clift went 7 of 12 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. Those 18 points gave Clift a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aiden Mcgill, who posted ten points and seven assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Dadeville and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Macks Creek, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dadeville will face off against Fair Play at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Macks Creek, they will take on Iberia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
