The Cougars narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Huskies 2-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Shawnee Mission Northwest got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 28-26, 23-25, 26-24.
