Volleyball Recap: Oak Mountain Academy Comes Up Short

The Oak Mountain Academy Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the Armuchee Indians on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Keira Lea paced Oak Mountain Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Lea got some help from Catherine Rooks and her 14 assists. Rooks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Oak Mountain Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Armuchee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Oak Mountain Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Temple on the 19th. As for Armuchee, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Rome on the 23rd.
