Soccer Recap: Sidney Takes a Loss

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Memorial Roughriders. If Sidney were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to Memorial when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Memorial, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Sidney will head out to square off against Wayne at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Memorial, they will square off against Bryan at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
