Football Recap: Rickards Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rickards extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. The contest between the Raiders and the Chiles Timberwolves didn't end well, with the Raiders falling 37-20. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Rickards lost, don't look at Jordan Kelley. Despite the final result, he threw for 297 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 103 yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Karlise Price, who rushed for 132 yards on only 12 carries.

As for Chiles, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.0 points over those games.

Jeremiah Cadet produced another solid performance rushing for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for four yards and one TD. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rickards will head out to challenge Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chiles, they will venture away from home to square off against Godby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
