Volleyball Recap: Ursuline Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ursuline Academy waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lebanon Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ursuline Academy was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16.

Jillian Forrest paced Ursuline Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Forrest got some help from Kelsey Green and her 46 assists. Mina Radaszewski controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Lebanon lost, don't look at Annie Milton. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two aces.

Ursuline Academy's record is now 10-5. As for Lebanon, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Ursuline Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Seton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lebanon, they will welcome Little Miami at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
