Volleyball Recap: Serena Triumphs

The Serena Huskers earned a 2-0 win over the St. Bede Bruins on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskers.

Serena not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Bede to exactly 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18.

Anna Hjerpe paced Serena's offense, picking up ten kills. Hjerpe got some help from Rebekah Shugrue and her 23 assists. Brynley Glade controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Serena's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for St. Bede, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serena will face off against DePue at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Bede, they will welcome Lowpoint-Washburn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
