Baseball Recap: Penasco Comes Up Short

Penasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Pecos, falling 16-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pecos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-8 on Wednesday.

Penasco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pecos, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Penasco has already played their next matchup, a 12-3 loss against Clayton on the 21st. As for Pecos, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Santa Fe Indian on the 21st.
