Greece Arcadia unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Gates Chili Spartans and fell 42-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 55-27 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Greece Arcadia and Gates Chili could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Titans (ranked 333rd) will meet Canandaigua Academy (ranked 68th) on Friday. Meanwhile, Gates Chili will challenge Irondequoit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (326 vs. 145).
