Basketball Recap: Winfield Comes Up Short

Winfield was the 58-54 winner over Andale when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Winfield Vikings lost 63-41 to the Andale Indians on Saturday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Winfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Andale, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Winfield will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Labette County at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. Andale has already played their next game (against Augusta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
