Volleyball Recap: Davidson Day Patriots vs. Hickory Christian Academy Knights        
        
		
             Davidson Day waltzed into their contest  on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They beat the Hickory Christian Academy Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  3-0. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11,  25-15.
 Leading Davidson Day to victory were  Deanna Fiore and  Sophia Bagwell.  Fiore  had seven  digs and 17  assists, while  Bagwell  had four  digs and three  aces. Fiore is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 16 or more in the last seven games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Davidson Day's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 20-3. As for Hickory Christian Academy, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-6.
 Davidson Day and Legion Collegiate Academy are set to duel  on Tuesday. Legion Collegiate Academy will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Davidson Day surely won't give up without a fight. Hickory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
