Basketball Recap: Port Edwards Comes Up Short

Port Edwards lost to Pacelli back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blackhawks lost to the Cardinals at home by a 39-25 margin.

Port Edwards has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Pacelli, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-12.

Port Edwards does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pacelli, they will host Almond-Bancroft at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
