Coldwater had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Pennfield Panthers by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Panthers back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Mya Porter paced Coldwater's offense, picking up eight kills. Porter got some help from Brooklyn Closson and her 23 assists. Finally, Marie Powers kept Coldwater's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Coldwater's victory bumped their record up to 21-16-4. As for Pennfield, their loss dropped their record down to 25-14-4.

Coldwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Marshall on the 25th. Pennfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
