Volleyball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Victorious

Oxbridge Academy proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out The Greene School Dolphins 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Oxbridge Academy wouldn't go down easily and took The Greene School into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-12, 25-27, 26-24, 15-6.

Olivija Kozul had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August of 2024. Katie Ross also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Oxbridge Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are 7-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Oxbridge Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for The Greene School, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Oxbridge Academy and Miami Country Day will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The Greene School, they will challenge Sports Leadership & Management at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
