Volleyball Recap: Montville Takes a Loss

Montville lost against Norwich Free Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 20-25, 25-9.

Leading Norwich Free Academy to victory were London Camp and Dakota Bourdon. Camp had 12 digs and two assists, while Bourdon had ten digs. Those two assists gave Camp a new career-high.

Montville now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Norwich Free Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Montville has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Plainfield on the 1st. As for Norwich Free Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against East Lyme on the 29th.
