Basketball Recap: Slaughter Community Charter Takes a Loss

Slaughter Community Charter lost against Northeast back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Slaughter Community Charter Knights took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Vikings. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Braylon Guerin, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and ten boards for Northeast. Those 30 points gave Guerin a new career-high. Tyson Spears was another key player, putting up six points along with 11 rebounds and five steals.

Slaughter Community Charter's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Northeast, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Slaughter Community Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northeast, they will head out on the road to challenge Catholic of Pointe Coupee at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
