Seffner Christian won the last time they faced Indian Rocks Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Crusaders took their game with ease, bagging a 78-40 win over the Eagles.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seffner Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Vernon Lee Jr, who shot 6-for-10 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 30 points and ten rebounds. Lee Jr has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Arcadian Davis, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 22 boards.

Seffner Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Indian Rocks Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jadyn Victor posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Seffner Christian's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Indian Rocks Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Seffner Christian will take on Pine Ridge at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they will square off against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
