Volleyball Recap: Viburnum's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Viburnum came into Monday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Laquey Hornets on Monday. The Blue Jays not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Viburnum took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-6, 25-13.

Viburnum's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Laquey, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Viburnum didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Bismarck on the 23rd. As for Laquey, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Seymour on the 25th.
