Basketball Recap: Ellensburg Takes a Loss

Ellensburg was the 71-50 winner over Grandview when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ellensburg Bulldogs lost to the Grandview Greyhounds at home by a 81-65 margin on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Ellensburg has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Grandview, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Ellensburg and Sehome will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ellensburg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Grandview will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Bremerton at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
