Volleyball Recap: Sahuaro's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

Sahuaro had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Walden Grove Red Wolves on Monday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since September 10th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sahuaro got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 25-17, 23-25, 15-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sahuaro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anahi Miranda Peregrina, who had 14 digs. That's the most digs Miranda Peregrina has posted over her last six matchups.

Sahuaro picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 8-13. As for Walden Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
