Basketball Recap: Ponitz Career Tech Takes a Loss

Ponitz Career Tech is still winless after their game against Carroll on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carroll Patriots. The Golden Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in March of 2017.

Ponitz Career Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Carroll, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

Ponitz Career Tech will square off against Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Carroll and Troy will round out the year against one another at at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Carroll has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
