Basketball Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

Westside lost against Dardanelle back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Westside Rebels took a blow against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards, falling 63-25. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Westside's defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Dardanelle, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Westside will face off against Western Yell County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westside is facing Western Yell County at the right time seeing as Western Yell County is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Dardanelle, they will take on Mayflower at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mayflower's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
