Softball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Railsplitters vs. Summit Academy Dragons

Lincoln Park is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Summit Academy a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Lincoln Park Railsplitters will host the Summit Academy Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincoln Park came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Allen Park, falling 20-5.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Summit Academy's offense. They lost 15-0 to Star International Academy on Tuesday.

Summit Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lincoln Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Everything went Lincoln Park's way against Summit Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Lincoln Park made off with a 20-5 victory. Do the Railsplitters have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
