Basketball Game Preview: Ferriday Trojans vs. Vidalia Vikings

The Ferriday Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Vidalia Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Ferriday came up short against Madison and fell 37-30. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vidalia got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 52-42 win over Caldwell Parish on Friday. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by exactly ten points.

The victory made it two in a row for Vidalia and bumps their season record up to 10-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Ferriday, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Ferriday was able to grind out a solid win over Vidalia in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 47-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ferriday since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
