Fossil Ridge is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Millennium. The SaberCats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers. The SaberCats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Trinity Burchett had a dynamite game, getting 16 digs and seven assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Marianne Garcia and Aubrey Burns certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Garcia had 11 digs and four assists, while Burns had six digs. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Riian Warner also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Fossil Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Millennium, they moved to 9-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Fossil Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Salpointe Catholic on the 26th. As for Millennium, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sacred Heart Prep on the 26th.
