Baseball Game Preview: Miller Place Panthers vs. Kings Park Kingsmen

For the second straight game, Miller Place will face off against Kings Park. The Panthers will host the Kingsmen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Miller Place fell victim to Kings Park and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Kingsmen by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Miller Place saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh MacDonald, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Kings Park is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Miller Place, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
