Basketball Game Preview: Central Kitsap Cougars vs. Lincoln Abes

The Central Kitsap Cougars will take on the Lincoln Abes at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Kitsap will be strutting in after a victory while Lincoln will be coming in after a loss.

Lincoln is hoping to do what Port Angeles couldn't on Friday: put an end to Central Kitsap's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Central Kitsap strolled past Port Angeles with points to spare, taking the game 54-40.

Meanwhile, Lincoln was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 1-0 to Sumner. The match marked the first time this season in which the Abes were not able to get on the board.

Central Kitsap is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Central Kitsap took a serious blow against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in January of 2016, falling 48-19. Can Central Kitsap avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
