Basketball Game Preview: Smith Center Redmen vs. Beloit Trojans

The Smith Center Redmen will head out on the road to face off against the Beloit Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Smith Center strolled past Trego with points to spare, taking the game 44-29. The Redmen haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Beloit didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Minneapolis on Friday, but they still walked away with a 46-40 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Smith Center's record now sits at 6-13. As for Beloit, their record now sits at 10-8.

Smith Center came up short against Beloit in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 58-47. Can Smith Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
