Baseball Recap: Rittman Takes a Loss

Rittman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Norwayne Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 on Tuesday.

Rittman's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Norwayne, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Rittman will be playing in front of their home fans against Coventry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Norwayne, they are taking a road trip to challenge Norton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
