Soccer Recap: Bradshaw Christian Takes a Loss

If Bradshaw Christian was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Amador last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bradshaw Christian The Pride fell just short of the Galt Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The loss put an end to the The Pride's undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Joe Rust, which was the first he's scored this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bradshaw Christian fell to 6-1-1. As for Galt, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Bradshaw Christian and Galt should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Bradshaw Christian (ranked 216th) will meet Union Mine (ranked 726th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bradshaw Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. Meanwhile, Galt will square off against El Dorado at 6:30 p.m. on Friday up 624 places (67 vs. 691). Bradshaw Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
