Volleyball Recap: Arlington Heights Christian Victorious

The Arlington Heights Christian Lions were able to grind out a solid victory over Pawnee on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

The win didn't come easy: Pawnee scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Arlington Heights Christian's offense was headlined by Sarah Helt and Kaydee Nix, who picked up five kills apiece. The pair just refused to take it easy: they also led the team is assists, picking up three each. Helt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The victory got Arlington Heights Christian back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Arlington Heights Christian and Pawnee will both be playing Waelder the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Pawnee will host them at 5:00 p.m. on September 19.
