Softball Recap: Spring Hill Takes a Loss

Spring Hill's last matchup with Dierks could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Bears came up short against the Outlaws, falling 9-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.

Spring Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jade Joy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Spring Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Dierks, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Spring Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Pine at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dierks, they are taking a road trip to challenge Centerpoint at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
