Basketball Recap: Armuchee Takes a Loss

Armuchee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Coosa Eagles, falling 73-50. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 59-47 loss back in January.

Despite the loss, Armuchee still got an impressive performance from Trenton Cothran, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Colton McBurnett was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.

Armuchee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Coosa, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-13.

Armuchee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coosa, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-50 loss against Gordon Central on the 11th.
