Timnath won the last time they faced Greeley Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Timnath Cubs really took it to the Greeley Central Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-31 victory. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 33 points or more this season.

Timnath's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gretchen Deines led the charge by putting up 12 points and seven assists. That's the most assists Deines has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Olivia Zadeh, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 11 points and eight boards.

Greeley Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Madison Sepeda, who earned ten points. Alexus Jaquez also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Timnath, bringing their record for this year to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points over those games. As for Greeley Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Timnath has already played their next matchup, a 56-36 victory against Loveland on the 15th. As for Greeley Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-38 loss against Northridge on the 14th.
