Football Game Recap: Greenwood Gators vs. Graves County Eagles

The Greenwood Gators were the 44-17 winner over the Graves County Eagles when they last played one another back in November of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Greenwood received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 22-7 to Graves County.

Graves County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Katzman out in front who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown. Katzman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Graves County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Graves County will square off against Bowling Green at TBD on Friday. Bowling Green is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
