Basketball Recap: Osceola Triumphs

Osceola hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Bella Recker that streak is no more. The Osceola Bulldogs claimed a resounding 54-10 victory over the Harvard Cardinals thanks in part to Recker, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 19 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.3 steals per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Theis, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

The win got Osceola back to even at 6-6. As for Harvard, their loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Osceola won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Santee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Santee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.1 points per game this season. As for Harvard, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Silver Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Silver Lake will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Harvard surely won't give up without a fight.
