Baseball Recap: Clyde Wins Going Away Against Breckenridge

After losing to Breckenridge the last time they met, Clyde decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Clyde Bulldogs blew past the Breckenridge Buckaroos 10-1 on Saturday. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Sterling Wilson was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Caden Winters also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Clyde's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Breckenridge, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Breckenridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Jim Ned at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
