Baseball Recap: San Marcos Academy Comes Up Short

San Marcos Academy managed to slip by New Braunfels Thunder the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears lost 9-3 to the Homeschool on Tuesday. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

San Marcos Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rye Roberts, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

San Marcos Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for New Braunfels Thunder, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6-1 record this season.

San Marcos Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against John Paul II on the 3rd. As for New Braunfels Thunder, they have also already played their next matchup, a 14-1 win against Founders Classical Academy on the 4th.
